Akomeya. The small stone – Uncle Yanga has to give the akomeya (a small stone offered to a person to wish their family wealth and prosperity) to little Mfang when he’s mature enough to receive it. The moment has come but the uncle would prefer to kill the boy than abandon his akomeya and lose the wealth it brought him. When he returns home at night, the akomeya has disappeared.
