Dave is a freelance graphic artist from Cape Town but his dream is to become a successful comic artist. His boss rejects his latest work- a catalogue selling bricks- and Dave leaves his office complaining about his life. In fact, Dave has a very peculiar feature: he was born with monkey feet. This has caused him psychological problems all his life but at least he can climb trees and reach his house by climbing on a palm tree. When he gets home, he finds his place invaded by frogs.
