A white man and a San man are killed and find themselves “in the dust” next to each other. When the white man’s friends go to retrieve their friend’s remains they don’t know which bones are his. Only the San man’s dog will recognize his owner’s bones. The author wishes to reflect on the difference between white and black people; which is in reality very little…The story is based on a novel by Charles Hermann Bosman.
