The story of Ndome, an orphan teenager who gets by thanks to her job as a prostitute, and Will, the doctor who rescues her after she is severely beaten by one of her clients. Ndome is alone and selling her body is the only thing she can do to survive. But one night, her client refuses to pay for her services and when she demands the money, he beats her until she faints and leaves her in a dump. Will is a doctor and is walking near the dump at night. When he sees Ndome lying among the garbage, he picks her up and drives her to hospital. Once she’s fully recovered, Will will help her to enter nursing school and find a decent place to stay.
