




In partnership with Africa e Mediterraneo, The Studio Museum in Harlem presented Africa Comics, the first-ever exhibition in the U.S. dedicated exclusively to comic art from across the continent.
During the exhibit the Museum received approximately 22600 visitors. Education and public programs were held in conjunction with the exhibition, including an adult program with Valerie Cassel, Keith Knight, Professor William H. Foster, Calvin Reid; teaching and learning workshops for k-12 educators titled Comics: Amusement and activism, a family program titled Comic creations!, a youth program titled Hands on workshop series - Comics.
