No title – Rwanda

A hutu girl is engaged with a young tutsi man. In the evening she reveals to her mother her boyfriend’s intentions behind the marriage. Her father, a strict and violent man, discovers their relationship: that night he comes back and beats his daughter, who is pregnant: she dies in the hospital. Her father will be put on trial. There is a public protest against the clashes and hatred between the two ethnic groups.
