Africavi – The king of a small Ewe village has decided to adapt to the ways of the many westerners trading in that area: he has himself called Francesco the 1st and he dresses like a Westerner, as do the other people in his court. The only one to oppose this is his son Africavi, who is worried about the loss of cultural roots. One day the king summons a European merchant and asks him to solve the problem of heat, whatever the price. What they need is ice, the merchant says; so the following day Africavi leaves to find the precious good that will bring civilisation to the village.
