Popular justice – Alain is a student and he is worried about his exams. One night he cannot sleep and goes out looking for an open shop where he can buy cigarettes. He knocks at the door of a small shop and the owner, annoyed by his knocking, blows his whistle to wake the whole neighbourhood up. The neighbours think he is a thief and beat him up.
