A woman comes home after a hard working day. Her partner gently asks her about her day. She replies that he has to mind his own business; she turns around and punches him. “One left-handed hit has more effect than ten minutes of talk. Why are abuses increasing in South Africa?” The black humour of this story is the result of the reversal of roles: it is a denunciation of the fact that in South Africa a woman is abused every 16 seconds; 90% of these abuses are committed by partners and husbands.
