A boy decides to go to war because he wants to ensure money for his family; but he will die, like his father, among the noise of the bombs. Some years later, the mother and the brother find themselves in a refugee camp. On the television screen one can see imagines from the wonderful West, where they have been trying to get to for years. But after 9/11 they remain confined to another foreign country whilst waiting to continue their journey. Another exile, having spent all his savings on trying to speed up the immigration papers, is forced to realise that Europe isn’t like he expected: immigrants are always seen as a troublesome load to get rid of as soon as possible.
